Project Manager Marketing & Brand - interim
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager that will be responsible for leading and delivering cross-functional brand initiatives and campaigns from planning through to launch. The role ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with brand, marketing and business objectives across internal teams and external partners, and drives progress and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. The assignment starts ASAP and ends in september. We offer a hybrid work model.
What you’ll be doing
Lead and deliver cross-functional brand initiatives from brief to launch across multiple touchpoints, including licensing & merchandising (from strategic partners to mass), toys, and entertainment, with connected brand campaigns
Maintain a clear and up-to-date overview of the brand project pipeline to support prioritisation and planning
Drive project decisions and next steps in situations with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and competing priorities
Define scope, timelines, and deliverables, and ensure alignment across stakeholders at different levels of the organisation, including resolving conflicting priorities
Manage multiple projects in parallel, balancing priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs
Ensure projects are delivered with clear outcomes, meeting agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
Own project budgets, including planning, tracking, forecasting, and outcome follow-up
Act as the main point of contact between Toca Boca teams, Spin Master teams (parent company), and external partners, ensuring clear communication and progress
Examples of responsibilities
Ensure brand guidelines, playbooks, and asset libraries are developed, maintained, and actively used across teams to enable effective brand scaling
Lead implementation and evolution of brand guidelines across the studio and partners
Work closely with Creative Hub (Producers) to translate plans into production and secure efficient, on-brand execution
Establish and maintain clear roles and responsibilities (RACI) to enable cross-functional collaboration
Manage project documentation, including roadmaps, contracts, NDAs, and POs
Manage external vendors and support licensing and merchandising initiatives
Identify risks and dependencies early, and take actions to mitigate impact on timelines, budget, and quality
Lead post-project reviews and apply learnings to improve future execution
Candidate Background
Relevant experience from roles such as Senior Project Manager, Producer, Client Director or equivalent
Experience from creative, marketing, brand, or entertainment-driven organisations (in-house or agency)
Experience from high-paced, global matrix organisations such as Mojang, Rovio, King, Supercell, Spotify, Klarna, or from agencies working with global brands
Candidate Requirements - Skills & Knowledge
Strong understanding of marketing and brand ecosystems, with experience translating strategy into cross-channel initiatives and campaign execution
Extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end
Strong ability to create clarity, make decisions, find gaps for improvements, and drive progress in complex, fast-moving environments
Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders across teams, seniority levels, and external partners
Experience managing budgets, contracts, and external vendors
Strong experience working closely with creative and production teams
Very strong communication skills, clear, direct, and structured
Comfortable working across time zones, including regular collaboration with teams in the US (West Coast / LA), and able to travel when needed to support key projects and
